Whiskey sour

My favourite cocktail.

Perfectly sour, perfectly sweet, perfectly fresh, perfectly soft.

And when you can buy organic, pasteurized egg yolks, it really becomes a lot easier 🙂

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 parts Bourbon
  • 1 part lemon juice
  • 1 part agave syrup
  • 1/2 egg white

HOW TO

Pour 2 parts bourbon, 1 part sirup and 1 part lemon juice in a shaker.

Taste to see if the balance is there.

Add ice and shake.

Sieve the drink into a glass, toss the ice and pour the drink back into the shaker.

Add 1/2 egg white and shake thoroughly until it’s foamy.
