Now, this dish is a trusted old friend.
Since I make roasted chicken a lot, there's almost always some leftovers - and that's where it's hard not to make a sandwich out of it.
This is just so easy, and so yummy and comforting - and it is possible to make it in a healthy way.
See recipe below.
INGREDIENTS
First, you must make a roasted chicken.
Then make a sandwich bread.
Other ingredients are:
- Mayonnaise
- Curry
- A bit of agave syrup (or organic sugar)
- Salt
- Pepper
- Some sort of lettuce (I adore lamb's lettuce)
- An onion
- Bacon
HOW TO
I'd start making the sandwich bread as it needs to sit for an hour before you can bake it.
Depending on whether you'd like the chicken in your sandwich to be hot or cold, you might want to start your roasted chicken when you're finished with the dough for the bread.
The spread: Mix a bit of curry into some mayonnaise (I'd go for a small teaspoon per deciliter). Add agave syrup, salt and pepper as you like the balance.
Chop an onion and fry some diced bacon.
Compose your sandwich as you like.
